I had an incredibly good experience at black amethyst! When I walked in I knew I would feel safe and comfortable the whole time. I was greeted with a large open space where everyone was chatting and having a good time. My artist was Ireland and I felt comfortable enough to speak up about moving the stencil multiple times (I always get a little nervous). I have attached a photo of my fresh tattoo and how it healed 3 years later. I also found out afterwards that I have a minor allergy to the ink and Ireland was kind enough to send me what brand she used so that I can tell future artists.

It never feels like ‘just a tattoo appointment.’ She listens to what I want, gives helpful feedback, and works with me until we figure out the perfect placement and design. She’s also super flexible with scheduling, especially since I drive almost an hour each way to see her, and her pricing is super fair. I even got my sternum/under-boob tattoo done with her, and she made the whole process comfortable and respectful, which meant a lot. 💕 She’s honestly done most of my tattoos at this point 😂 and I keep going back because she’s genuinely the best. She’s become someone I feel really comfortable with, and I fully trust her with my ideas. I can’t imagine going to anyone else!!! ♥️

I went to Ireland Bower to get my dream piece down on my spine. I didn't give her much direction other than beachy feminine and shark and she created the most beautiful tattoo for me that I get compliments on constantly. Not only is she an incredible artist but she is the sweetest person. Kept really fun and engaging conversation and kept a close eye on me to make sure I was comfortable during the whole process. Definitely going back to her for future tattoos!!!
